Landmark Welcomes Jason Perry as Architect Partner
Landmark Construction & Development is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with registered architect Jason Perry, bringing architectural services directly into Landmark's design-build process.
The partnership builds on a relationship that has already been tested across years of successful work. Jason has been a registered architect for 14 years and has collaborated with Landmark for approximately eight years on nearly $200 million in construction projects. By working together more closely, Landmark can now offer clients a more connected experience from the earliest design conversations through construction and project completion.
One Team From the Beginning
In a traditional project delivery model, a client may spend months developing plans with an architect before a contractor reviews the design and provides meaningful pricing feedback. That can lead to difficult discoveries: the design may exceed the available budget, key features may need to be removed, or the team may have to retrace weeks of work.
Landmark's design-build approach is intended to prevent that disconnect.
From the first meeting, the client, architect and construction team work together to understand the project's goals, priorities, budget and schedule. Design ideas are evaluated in real time, helping the team determine what is achievable before unnecessary time and resources are invested.
As Jason explains in the announcement video, "We're in lockstep from day one." The goal is to avoid putting ideas on paper that cannot realistically become part of the finished project.
For clients, that means:
Earlier and more reliable budget guidance
Fewer redesigns and delays
Faster, more informed decisions
Better coordination between design and construction
Direct communication with one invested project team
Design and Construction in Constant Communication
Jason's closer integration with Landmark also strengthens communication after construction begins. Field teams can speak directly with him when a detail needs clarification or a condition requires a different approach. Those conversations help solve issues quickly and allow lessons from the field to improve future designs.
The relationship also creates an important balance. Jason protects the look, feel and purpose of the design, while Landmark brings practical construction knowledge and continuous attention to cost, scheduling and execution. Rather than working toward separate goals, both sides are accountable for creating the strongest possible project within the client's real-world parameters.
A Shared Passion for Church Projects
Church design and construction will remain a significant focus of the partnership.
Jason describes church projects as especially meaningful because they allow him to help congregations place their resources into facilities that support their ministry and long-term vision. Landmark's established church portfolio also gives clients a valuable head start during design.
Visiting completed projects allows church leaders and staff to experience classroom sizes, finishes, layouts and other design decisions firsthand. Landmark can then bring the team together for an interactive design session, translating those observations, priorities and ideas into plans while the client participates in the process.
This hands-on approach can accelerate decisions that might otherwise require weeks of meetings and revisions.
Expanding Landmark's Integrated Design-Build Services
The partnership with Jason strengthens Landmark's ability to coordinate the full design process under one collaborative structure. Along with architecture, Landmark offers integrated access to civil engineering and interior design services.
By bringing these disciplines together, Landmark can help clients move more seamlessly from an initial idea to a completed building, with the full team working toward the same standards for design, budget, timeline and quality.
"At the end of the day, our goals are aligned," Jason says. That alignment is the foundation of Landmark's design-build approach and the reason this partnership is such a natural next step.
Landmark looks forward to continuing its work with Jason and helping churches, businesses and organizations bring their projects to life.
